about

Bass clarinet, two Celli and drums. That's all it takes. With CONCINNITY an absolutely unique band sound was created (Ulrich always searches for new sound combinations). The music moves stylistically between influences from jazz, classical music, pop right down to some metal.

The celli and the bass clarinet interact perfectly and constantly change roles and produce together an almost orchestral sound.

All three instruments have about the same massive range - nearly five octaves - which enables an incredible tonal variety. An nearly endless playground of grooves, ostinato lines, melodies, trance like atmospheres and musical flying carpets.

CONCINNITY originally was released in 2010 on prestigious german jazz label Enja. The physical album already is out of print for long.
